Founding a school...
...Inventing a Method
In 2017, Charlotte Martin chose to step back from touring to prioritize her family and pursue her long-held dream of teaching. This shift led to the founding of Something Like A Music School in 2018, where she developed the innovative Charlotte Martin Vocal Method.
Combining her extensive opera training with her two-decade career in pop music, Charlotte offers a unique approach to voice, piano, and songwriting through her school. She now teaches, co-writes, and produces with artists in 12 countries, and is working on her 19th album, featuring collaborations with her students.
